VP of Sales

“Leave the world better than you found it. Make a lasting impression. Treat people the way you want to be treated. And do what you can to help others find the greatness that’s already in them.”

My dad used to say, “Leave the world better than you found it. Make a lasting impression. Treat people the way you want to be treated. And do what you can to help others find the greatness that’s already in them.”

That stuck with me.

I spent the early part of my career in sales leadership roles, focused on growth, process, and performance. We hit numbers. We drove results. But what I started to see over time was that the biggest difference between teams who thrived and teams who just survived wasn’t talent or territory. It was trust.

It came down to communication.

The ability to connect with someone, to understand their perspective, and to earn the right to influence their thinking….that’s the real unlock.

Twelve years ago, I pivoted into the performance improvement space and never looked back. I started helping companies build coaching cultures and tap into the potential that already existed on their teams. I’ve seen firsthand how the right conversation, at the right time, can change the trajectory of a person’s career…or their life.

One moment I’ll never forget was a visit to a rural manufacturing facility. I had flown in from across the country and agreed to meet with the third shift crew. Not exactly prime time. But when I walked into the breakroom, it was full of people, pizzas, and energy.

What I didn’t expect was what came next.

They shared stories. Stories of triumph. Stories of overcoming obstacles. Stories about the impact this work had made; not just in their careers, but in their families, their confidence, and their livelihoods. It was a moving evening; one I’ll never forget.

Those conversations mattered.

And that’s what this work is really about.

It’s not about checking boxes or chasing quotas. It’s about helping people become better communicators, better teammates, and better leaders. It’s about helping them see their own potential and take the next step forward.

That’s why I joined Braintrust.

  • I get to help others grow.
  • I get to align my work with what I believe matters most.
  • And I get to do it with people who believe the same.

That’s why I do what I do.
